VINTAGE 1947 SIDNEY CARDINALS BASEBALL JERSEY WOOL SOUTHERN TIER LEAGUE CHAMPS

This vintage 1947 minor league baseball jersey is for the Sidney Cardinals & judging from my extreme allergy, appears to be all wool, hence forth the outdoor pics! In a sz 44 by Wilson, it’s a very light gray/oatmeal color, & the sewn on details are in a very fine wale corduroy & felt, it has the logo & mascots on the chest, a Southern Tier League Champions 1947 patch sewn on the arm, & the # 18 on the back. These old jerseys sell for major coin if washed & prepared well, but as I’ve said earlier, my extreme allergy has prohibited me to do so, and also, many collectors want them in their purest, raw form! With that said, this treasure is being sold AS IS, so please view all pics with consideration, & I’ll leave it to you to decide the sort of care you wish to give it. I have a hyper sensitive olfactory sense, & for as old as this puppy is, it doesn’t have an odor. This jersey has been in the family for so many years, passed from one household to another, & eventually ended up with me about 25 years ago. It’s been in a sealed storage container all these years so I could breathe freely, but it’s time to downsize for retirement, & selling this piece was a no brainer as I unfortunately can’t live amongst it!
