crmbrele What size is this, you mention a 42R, but also as an XL( which would be more like 46R). This is European sized, usually would be noted as a 50 something, like 56 is a 44R. Thank you!

jflittlequail @crmbrele HERE ARE THE MEASUREMENTS. I’ll leave it up to you to determine what size. Whether you wish to use UK OR USA. I would probably guess an EXTRA LARGE.

crmbrele @jflittlequail So, I like coat and $125 no big deal. My problem is size… or lack of knowing exactly what it is. I am willing to buy at $125, but would like assurance I can send back IF too small, as willing and able to make smaller with tailoring, but cannot make bigger. What do you think?? Appreciate your communicating with me!

jflittlequail @crmbrele take a coat even somewhat similar and measure all the same measurements i have made here. If they are similar I’d say the coat will fit. Mainly you’ll want the ArmP to ArmP to be big enough. Sometimes sleeves can be altered. Also the shoulder seam to shoulder seam should accommodate your back and shoulders. I missed that measurement. It’s 19-20”. If you have a fairly flat belly the hip measurement should be ok if the other two measurements are good.

jflittlequail @crmbrele hmmm, I forgot to tell you to take a coat you own and that fits you. Compare measurements to the coat you wish to purchase. I guess I assumed you would know what I meant, and I know better than to assume.
