Extraordinary carved wooden box. Excellent condition and a beautiful design all around both sides top and front. No carving on back. Almost 10" long, 6-7" tall and and 5" deep..
Uncertain the type of wood but very good condition. Wood has a stain like a dark mahogany..
I believe this is from HONDURAS

Its past time, and getting hard to continue to roll with the vagaries of the Posh Gods without a backup plan - then these dry periods will be of less importance, and that sounds rather marvelous 🥳

@wrforrest I will check out your sisters shop, for sure :) Yes- I’m just getting started on the place you mention, but it’s just a tiny pinky toe in the water… going to restart my shop on that used-to-be-crafty place that starts with an E and ends with a Y, need to get into that creaking giant e - B ayyyyy (but it kind of freaks me out), will be on a specific children’s site for that category…

@wrforrest … and, last but not least, I’ll have a friend helping me get going with my blog/website, as soon as I can wrangle her down for a good time (she’s in England)… so, a lot of big plans, but nothing will happen until next month, really; we expect guests and my sweetheart is a little freaked, so a lot of effort is going into the house. And there you go- the elephant I need to eat LOL heaven help me. But this is the path to where I want to go. Its just … a lot. Hahahahahaha omg
