Vintage Trifari Lion Hidden Watch Necklace, Original Tag, MINT

This necklace was featured in the Trifari catalog as "Time Jewels", along with other jewelry watches. This lion is one of the largest pendants, and he is fearsome! You can see its baring teeth, majestic mane that is textured, piercing eyes and alert ears positioned in front of his mane. The pendant hangs on a chunky textured gold tone chain. The top part of the face lifts up to reveal a watch, signed "Trifari" and "17 Jewels". The watch winds up easily and keeps perfect time. The back is signed "Trifari" with a copyright mark and a crown above the "T". The original tag states "Assembeled in U.S. From Swiss Parts 17 Jeweled Movement." The box is in excellent condition, there is a couple pen marks inside the lid as shown in last pic. Mint condition, has not been worn.
