rosebudsterling @7plush7 Thank you for the question. I don't have a valid way to really measure the thickness or grade of the Sherpa. I've been pondering what, other than measuring with a tape measure but that would include the jean backing with it.

7plush7 @rosebudsterling Is this jacket considered vintage, meaning it was made back in the day? Also, I'm asking about the thickness because older jackets were made with more fabric, whereas newer models are thinner. Thanks.

rosebudsterling @7plush7 I understand the question of thickness but do not have a way to gauge the thickness. The Sherpa is of good quality, it is not what I would consider "thin" or "cheap", nor of a "heavy" Sherpa. This is a good quality Levi jacket. I will look for a date on the jacket since it's not showing on the tags in the photos.

rosebudsterling @7plush7 I've added two photos showing the thickness of the jacket. It's approx. 1/4". I was unable to locate a manufacturing date on the tags. I did add a photo of the only date that I could find on the tags which is a patent date.

rosebudsterling Hence the "vintage" in the listing, somewhere in my mind I had a 2000-2004 year of the purchase but cannot locate where that was in reference. The "vintage" is from the research of the item. Levi "Vintage Fit" term. So, since the original listed does not have the 🎬 icon to list it's over 20 years old; I have no reference to the year of manufacturing year.
