“To honor the first ‘Rocky’ film’s 45th anniversary, Italian stalwart Diadora has teamed up with Foot Locker, Inc. for three pairs inspired by the epic opponents the Philadelphia-based fighter has bested. Lush white and sky blue take over this style by Diadora. Rocky’s foes’ name is printed on the tongue, with included hangtags depicting them in Keith Shore’s signature aesthetic. Further graphics are embroidered and printed on the spine and sock-liner, respectively, with the latter showcasing Balboa face-to-face with these fighters. Lastly, a silhouette of the fictional boxer (based on the real-life Chuck Wepner) with his arms up is stamped onto the lateral heel, nodding to one of the ‘Rocky’ saga’s most recognizable moments.” Also features his wins-losses on the inside of each tongue. (The attention to detail is commendable) Bought these secondhand and wore them 1nce myself. Wasn’t a fan of the way I look in them lol. A few minor marks I tried picturing, most of them were present when I bought them. Will ship in replacement box, I had one just laying around. MSRP $120 🥊
