I'm always excited to see Akira re-interpret classics--the label deserves so much respect for giving the ladies in Chicago the neoprene club dress. While it may not always be your taste level, the brand will always, always turn your head. This collaboration with Ammo is NEXT LEVEL and I'm not kidding when I tell you it was framed at the house of Sissy Spaceship. New with tags, and completely out of stock, this is high art--a collector's piece, for sure. The construction is INSANE, and the workmanship resulted in a dress that is so painstakingly sewn that it has absolutely no stretch. Each feather overlaps with the next, and the result is almost like armor. From pit to pit, my measurement is generous at 16.5. I dropped five inches down to measure the ribcage and waist, and as you can see, it's 14 across, which is a tough fit. The length is classic cocktail, 33 inches, and Beatrix the mannequin illustrates that this is a sexy mini, that just happens to have plumage!
