SALE Delightful example of a 1930's/1940's dance dress. For summer, it is peach organdy. It is lined in peach satin. The neckline is 7" deep sweetheart leading to gathered bust and inverted V bodice. The back has a 11 1/2" plunge. The bolero has 10" gathered at the shoulder sleeves. Both the bolero and the border of the skirt have sewn down horizontal pleats. The straps on the dress are 1 1/4" wide x 16". The dress and the liner close on the left side with snaps. No maker label--home tailored? Size: no size label--Bust 38"; 32" waist; 40" hip measured on inside of lining; 63" long. Bolero-15" long; 39 1/2" chest; 33" lower hem circumference. Note it is showing large on the model which is a misses 6 Condition: good vintage. We found 2 pinholes in the organdy on front of dress--we did not find immediately because they blend into the lining.
