Vintage Austrian Black & Gold Shawl with Pattern and Fringe 100% virgin wool

Very elegant, rich looking shawl. The drop off the shoulder is not as wide as a normal shawl. It’s a little slimmer with about a 17” drop off the shoulder and about 70” full length. But it nicely covers the shoulders. This is very well made. Made in Austria of 100% virgin wool. The shawl itself has a very fine ribbed jersey feel to it. Light enough, but still enough to keep draft out in cooler weather. The fringe is fun, shiny. Some strands have unraveled over time, but it’s not noticeable because there’s so much of it. The embellishments are also nicely done and gives it an elegant look. Great piece to dress up a gown or outfit and definitely different compared to everything in the stores. One side of label needs to be resewn.
