Original color was black so it just needed a little update to look more vibrant. (Had some minor scuffs on leather) The YSL was painted in a metallic silver gray color to make it stand out! allthingslvplus @jillspatola hi! Yes, it’s 100% authentic! It’s vintage, probably 30 years old I’m guessing but in good condition still. I didn’t see a serial number in it. Not sure what year YSL started doing serial numbers. I’ve looked at other YSL clutches online (from the same period) and they don’t have serial numbers either. It must have been made before they started doing serial numbers?!? Thanks!

allthingslvplus @azjess82 hi, yes it is 100% authentic! I’ve had multiple over the years of selling now. I read somewhere that serial numbers could be hidden inside or stamped so lightly into the leather at the bottom inside that it’s hard to see. They make the serial numbers more visible on the newer ones but these that are 30-40 years old are so difficult. 🙄
