It’s from the crotch area where the stitching comes together to the top of the jeans front or from the crotch area to the top of the pants right above your bottom. The inseam is measured from the crotch area stitching straight down to the bottom of the pant leg. With those measurements it’s helps to see if the jeans will fit before you buy. 😊
