The dress actually has an empire waistline but because the bodice section meets at the cummerbud which is has straight overlapped pleats it appears to be continuous. The dress has a side zipped closure with a goldtone J engraved zipper pulland has flirty full skirt. The dress is made of a gray fine-weave fabric that has gold metallic fibers within the weave that sparkle in the light, and have a shimmering gold 'rose' design in gold metallic. The dress has a 'sticky' top edge and is fully lined with a luxurious gray 100% silk lining. The dress fabric is made of 52% cotton/28% metallic/20% silk.
