Reposhing this item I purchased from @goodclosetfinds. It’s a beautiful hat and in great condition, but it turned out to be too small for me. My guess is that the actual size is somewhere between 6 3/4 and a size 7, based on prior experience. There is a small mark on the right side of the hat, just above the band. It’s barely noticeable.

Even though the hat size says 7 1/4. You think it’s smaller than the size stated??

@glewis93056 Yes, I'm sure. I can wear hats sized between 7 1/4 and 7 3/8. This hat is obviously too small for me when I put it on. So, I think it's closer to a size 7, or maybe even a 6 3/4.
