Longaberger Homecoming Bee Station 2000 Kiddie Basket Purse Leather Strap Stamp

A rare, hard to find Longaberger kiddie small purse. Dated 2000 hand woven in Dresden, Ohio and dated on the issue date on the inside of the attached lid. The underside of the lid has the following: A 2000 postage stamp of 33 cents and Homecoming Bee Station, August 2, 2000, Dresden, Ohio. These were a limited run that were given to those who attended the Homecoming Bee that year. The purse/basket is in excellent condition for age. Leather is supple, clean, snaps work well, basket weaves are clean with no splits or damage. Stamp in place as well as the date of issue postage stamp. Nice rare item in great condition. Basket is very sturdy and it is a beautiful collector item from the days gone by. Measures: 5.5" across top x 4" wide at top, 4 1/8" x 2 1/8" at bottom and 4.5" tall. The strap is long and has a 22.5" drop from top of lid, the hang chain and leather Longaberger tab is in place. Ask questions if needed, this item is rare. Smoke and pet free environment.
