This is a high-quality reproduction of Aubrey Beardsley's The Peacock Skirt (1893) on archival-quality matte paper. It is mounted in a new 15" x 12" black and acrylic wall-hanging frame. The work depicts the biblical Salome receiving John the Baptist's severed head on a silver platter after performing the Dance of the Seven Veils. It was commissioned for Oscar Wilde's play Salomé.
