This is a vintage 1997 replica of the Horsman 1948 Campbell’s Kid Chef Dolls. It is so sweet! Has never been removed from the box, nor has the lid been removed – still sealed. Comes with Certificate of Authenticity which states: “Horsman affirms that you are the owner of a Limited Numbered Edition Pair of authentic 1948 Campbell's Kid Chef Dolls that are part of a Replica Series. The Campbell's Kids were first illustrated in 1904 by Grace Drayton and quickly gained popularity as advertising characters. In 1910, the first Campbell's Kid dolls were manufactured by Horsman. They featured "Can't Break 'em" heads and cloth bodies stuffed with cork. The Replica Series is officially authorized by Campbell Soup Company. Limited Edition- 10,000 pieces. The dolls are about 13” tall. The box is in good to very good condition – some shelf wear and a few slight bends in the cardboard. The box is very large: 17”x15”x5”
