rynbeedLast as able to check yes, the disk drive opened and the PS2 worked, but that was somewhere around 2015. As of now I do not have a way to test it's ability to read PSX/PS2 games as I sold all of them. I am listing it "as is" due to my inability to fully test out the systems functionality. In the past I have never had an issue with the system
