“ BALLOON of GRAPES ” Hand Crafted Original Gourd Art. • I Created this Fun piece of Home Decor while Daydreaming on a Snowy, Winter Day! Red, Green and Purple Grapes Vine around the Envelope of a Hot Air Balloon. • Champagne and Wine are part of the History of Hot Air Ballooning, which dates back to the 1700’s. The Pilots and Balloonists carried it with them to Thank the Farmers for allowing them to Safely Land in their Fields. • A combination of Pyrography and Water Paints, I Free Hand the artwork with a Wood Burner, Hand Painted and Sealed by Brushing on a Flexible Acrylic Sealer. • This One of a Kind, Original Gourd Art is whole and still contains the seeds. • Gourds are a Natural Canvas and no two are alike. Lots of layers and fun! 🌿 I kept telling Randee I was making a Hot Air Balloon to escape the snow and come see her in beautiful Wine Country😇 but alas it’s the middle of February and it’s snowing as I type. onceuponakind@artbykristina It's pouring rain here with gale wind warnings!! I'd be tempted to drive the 1. 5 hours up to her place just for the sunshine too. Think the winds might prohibit your hot air balloon 😁 but alas, bro has the car and I'm mopping up water from who knows where. Keep putting down towels and then tossing in dryer as they become saturated, 😂 All of yours are beautiful, but this one just has such jewel colors and it just sings :)
