Not for all Zimmermann! The best way to check authenticity of a Zimmermann is the care label! There are so many knock off on the market. So if you have this dress and meet the requirements as followings please let me know! I have ask 5 friends who bought the butterfly dress, and they all have the characters as followings: 1. Double layered label on the neck and Zimmermann logo is in gold.(this is the character for the butterfly dress, Zimmermanns other style may have silver logo and one layer Zimmermann logo). 2. Inner lining should be purple. 3. Washing label is not glossy and looks matte. The triangle on the wash label should be slim and the font on the wash label should be clear! Also, the video is posted in my photos which shows the authentic one should be. If you are looking for this dress too, please make sure asking for photos of neck label, zip and care label from the seller before making a purchase! Luckily I got the same dress from department store, hers is a fake too. There are so many high dupe on the market, my friend compared the dupe butterfly dress they got from China to the real, and it is almost hard to tell except the wash label. I am going to do a video on YouTube since so many people are victims….

hyysunshine @lici3649 Chinese dupe stores have WeChat for contacting these buyers. I saw they dupe Zimmermann, Isabel Marant and Max Mara and so on. Almost every dress even include the runway styles are duped by them. They told me they have a large amount of customers located overseas. And my some friends works at Saks fifth avenue and Nordstrom told me some people bought real cloth and return fake ones instead. Now the knock offs are all over e- bay, mer- ca ri and posh, the real real.

hyysunshine @lici3649 It is not hard to spot real or fake from the care label, you could go to stores to check what the real Zim care label looks like. So never buy a cloth that take care label off. The fake one’s font is not clear, or the triangle is fat. Go to Zimmermann store and reliable department which has their own protective lock on the neck(it is hard to change from real to fake) for the brand cloth. They are authentic for sure.

vals_duds Did some research and Just learned that it’s not suppose to be double layered. I have over 7 Zimmermann pieces from the actual store and boutique. THE TAGS ARE SINGLE layer AND GOLD!!! So this dress on here would be FAKE!

I owned over 40 Zimmermann dresses, in order to get an authentic butterfly dresses, I talked with over 5 friends who owned this dress and they convinced that authentic Zimmermann botanica butterfly dress should have double layers, and I get proof from Chinese dupe store that their dupe only have one layer. Please read my text clearly. I stated that double layer is only for this dress.

I was wondering whether you found Zimmermann sizing to be TTS. I am a US 4/6, so based on every sizing chart, I should be a Size 1. However, the belted linen shirt dress I purchased yesterday was for a size 2 because the seller said that it fit like a size 4-6. My hunch is that this is a dupe based on that fact alone, but maybe I'm just paranoid now lol.

hyysunshine @rehanbrenna It is true that Botanica is old Zimmermann. Zim old style doesn’t have 0P, the sizing starts from 0, then 1,2. I believe Zim starts have 0P recently, so New Zim style size 0P equals old style size 0. New style size 0= old Zim size 1. Also, I have talked with my friends, old Zim runway series size are larger than resort series or casual styles.

I once bought an LED mask from Saks, and what came in the box was a used mask from a completely different brand. It was disgusting. So clearly the returns department does not do inspections. I will definitely be keeping this in mind going forward 💗
