RARE Chanel Vintage Caviar CC Camera Bag

RARE bag alert! This gorgeous black caviar vintage bag with gold hardware and a diagonal stitched design, is truly a collector's dream! As much as we all love vintage Chanel bags, often times the majority that are available are lambskin leather. Lambskin is beautiful, but so much harder to maintain over time, especially over decades, which often results in the condition not being quite up to par for vintage bags. Chanel introduced Caviar leather in the 90's, but it wasn't heavily produced until much later, which is why it's so special to find a vintage caviar Chanel! They are few and far between! This bag was produced sometime between 1991 - 1994. Caviar has become the most popular leather for people purchasing a Classic Chanel, meaning it can often be sold out in-stores. Caviar's pebbled finish texture provides resistance to wear and tear. It also enhances the puffy nature of the Chanel quilting. As opposed to buttery soft Lambskin, Caviar is tougher in nature and therefore retains its shape much better.
