Stunning Talavera Puerto Vallarta Shallow Serving Bowl 9.5 x 7.25 in. This is a beautiful Talavera Puerto Vallarta serving bowl. Like all Talavera pottery it is painted in very vibrant colors. It features a floral medallion in the center with 4 blue birds flying away from it. Prominent colors are blue, red, and green. It is kidney bean shaped. Impressed on the back is “Mexico” and printed is “Mexico Lead Free.” It is very good quality pottery. Talavera is a tin-enameled earthenware, Majolica pottery and comes only from Puebla, Mexico and it’s nearby communities of Atlixco, Cholula, and Tecali. Height 1.75 in Depth 1.5 in Length 9.5 in Width 7.25 in Weight 2 lbs In excellent like new condition. There are no chips, cracks, or crazing. Please review the photos for verification of condition.
