A vintage from 1995 Blender magazine Volume 2.1 CD-ROM featuring Bjork on the cover! ๐ค๐ถ CD-ROM magazines were supposed to be the wave of the future back in 1995! Measures 5 1/2 inches across and 5 inches long. Issue features interviews with Bjork, Radiohead, Terry Gilliam, Pizzicato Five, and Matt Groening creator of The Simpsons. Please note that case has wear and tear and tape marks as it is over 28 years old. ***CD still works but you will need a compatible computer system to play it. ***
Blender Magazine was published by Dennis Publishing. The magazine began in 1994 as the first digital CD-ROM magazine by Jason Pearson, David Cherry, and Regina Joseph. Acquired by Felix Dennis/Dennis Publishing it published 15 digital CD issues and launched on the web in 1996. Blender CD-ROM showcased the earliest digital editorial formats, as well as the first forms of digital advertising. The first digital advertisers included Calvin Klein, Apple Computer, Toyota and Nike. It started publishing a print edition again in 1999 and went to an online only format in 2009. Blender's final print issue was the April 2009 issue.
