rougelips@victoriaj83 I totally understand your frustration, and I'm just as sad about it. Unfortunately, the prices that I had before left me with such a small profit margin, that it if I left the prices as is, I'd just have to shut down the boutique. Again, it wasn't my choice to increase prices and I'm praying that Trump cancels the tariffs, so that I don't have to pay them, so I could bring prices down. It's not me, wasn't my idea, it's our government's new policy to make us, (importers) pay more.

rougelips@victoriaj83 We never increased the prices before, despite the inflation, I have been putting it off to offer great deals to our customers. Unfortunately, due to our government's new blanket tariff policy on all the countries, we are having to increase the prices for the first time, because the tariffs are now imposed on me as an importer, by my vendor. If Trump didn't impose tariffs on foreign countries, they wouldn't increase prices by 20%-150% for me, and I wouldn't have to increase prices.

rougelips@victoriaj83 I hate to do this, and I put it off for a while, but these tariffs are going to hurt me, going to hurt you, will hurt the economy. But this is the president we have right now. Hopefully he rolls it back, and I'll be the first to drop the prices back down.
