Vintage Teapot, Hand-Painted, Occupied Japan, 1945-1952, Bird Design

This quaint hand-painted teapot features a bird and floral motif with gilt trim. It is marked "Made in Occupied Japan" so it dates somewhere between 1945 and 1952. There are no chips, cracks, or crazing. It measures approximately 5 1/2 inches tall and 8 1/2 inches wide from the tip of the spout to the outermost edge of the handle.
