By the format of the serial number (not a style number) and the tiny "Leatherware" under COACH on the creed patch, this bag was manufactured before 1994 and after the 1970s. This true vintage bag is in outstanding condition. The leather is supple with good color and it is very clean, inside and out. The bag has a flap with turnlock closure and an outside slip pocket. Under the flap is a main compartment with a zipper pocket and another slip pocket in front. A previous owner kept a piece of cardboard in this pocket to protect the leather behind the gold-tone turnlock hardware. The bag has an adjustable shoulder strap with a drop of 19.5" - 21". The initials "PAW" are embossed on the front. Truly a unique bag. 9" x 6.5" x 2" This is a vintage bag. I do not know how many owners this bag may have had in the past 30 years. It is possible this bag may have repairs or renovations I am not aware of. In any case, it is a beautiful, unique bag ready for the next adventure.
