The backing is done in a rich chocolate brown, and is an ultra soft fleece microfiber. The throw measures 50" X 70", and is BRAND NEW, in its original zippered bag. Directions state, Dry Clean Only, but I think you could wash on delicate & line dry, with no problem (I have seen similar throws with these washing instructions).
