Good Used Condition, Dreamy lusterware opulence of minty limey green washed with a sheer golden pinky purple shine, even prettier in person.
The center medallion features The Gibson Girl, who appeared in the end of the XIX century and gained popularity in the beginning of the XX century, was the personification of the feminine ideal of physical attractiveness portrayed by the satirical pen-and-ink illustrator Charles Dana Gibson. It’s Artist signed.
Kindly note she is not a pedigree Limoges but an imposter, but no less beautiful in my eyes! This plate is really old and well-loved: flea bite ding roughness all around the edge, and 1 chip shown in Red which can easily be hidden with a plate hanger strategically placed. Lots of crazing, loss of gold on the rim. This type of pottery is really old and brittle.
There are 2 of these listed, each with a different portrait but in the same opulent wash.

These are beautiful, could you suggest 4 plates like these I can hang on a plate rack in my kitchen? I love everything you have. They all remind me of my great-grandmother and grandmother and my mom. Such priceless treasures. I am also going to sell for medical bills.
