What a wonderful pair of vintage Shawnee Kenwood confetti splash splatter candle holders. The art pottery holders have a pink underglaze with speckles of black and pink in a fat lava glaze. Kenwood was Shawnee's upscale line. Shawnee was one of the many famous Zanesville, Ohio pottery companies. Competitors included McCoy, Roseville, Hull, and Weller. This particular set of candle holders are each about 7 inches long and almost 2 inches tall. They have a delightful oval shape. There are no chips, no cracks, no paint loss, and no crazing. They are in excellent vintage condition. These candle holders are excellent examples of mid century decor. The pink and black, the fat lava glaze, the unique shape - they will be a fantastic addition to your mid century home!
