bbarbieluv @kskoontz13 hi! Thanks for asking. It is a smooth leather, tho it’s not Saffiano. I would consider the weight to be medium. Leather is naturally heavier, but I think pebble leather is heavier than this soft leather. I have a similar D&B bag that’s pebble and it’s quite a bit heavier. I don’t have a scale or I’d offer to weigh it for you. It’s a very pretty bag. Please feel free to ask me any other questions. 💗

kskoontz13 @bbarbieluv Thanks for that! I know I think DB bags are heavy to start. Due to health reasons, I need it to be lighter in general. Is it more supple leather or structured?

bbarbieluv @kskoontz13 my pleasure luv! The leather is soft and supple, the kind you want to press against your cheek ☺️, But, it has nice boning and edging that gives it structure and a defined shape. It won’t just turn into a lump on you (again, I compare to my lump of a DB bag lol). But again, it’s not Saffiano, so it doesn’t have that wax coating that makes the leather stiff and super-structured. I hope that helps. Ask me anything, I’ll try my best to answer 💗

bbarbieluv @kskoontz13 ah, the great debate between 2 items, where I frequently find myself. 😅 If the two you’re debating about are this dove grey one and the python pattern crossbody, I’d say they weigh pretty similar to one another. It would mainly come down to a size preference as the python is smaller and more compact. I do have an EUC Coach brown smooth leather shoulder bag that is lighter, but it doesn’t have a flap. It does have a top zipper tho. It does not have a crossbody option. 💗

kskoontz13 It’s between your drove gray bag and a saddle tan one. They both are similar in size, with the leather I’m looking for and crossbody. It’s the color I’m really stuck at. Ugh!

bbarbieluv @kskoontz13 well of course I’m going to say mine is better j/k 😉 I do really like this bag, honestly having a bit of a hard time letting it go, but I never used it and just have too many for me. I am a sucker for grey items- shoes, accessories, bags. I feel it’s so versatile as to whether I’m wearing black or brown, it goes. Saddle brown is a classic color for a reason, a truly classy shade. I don’t envy your choices. If there’s anything else I can answer on this one, just let me know, anytime💗
