Are those just snaps around the top or are they actual belt loops that will hold a belt in place and not pop open?

@starry1221 Hi and good evening! The flaps are indeed actual loops. I added some pics for you. The 3 rear loops are wider (I can get about 3 of my fat little fingers through them). The 2 front loops are much narrower, however. So, I think you'd still have to have a narrower belt. Please let me know if I can answer any other questions! :)
