You don't have to be named "Darrel" to wear this jacket! This is a vintage automotive jacket manufactured by Red Kap. There are two patches: 1) Name patch ("Darrel" ) 2) Automotive retailer (where Darrel worked), "Burns Pontiac GMC. Home of the NICE Guys" I tried to figure out where this place is, and I think I pinpointed it to a dealership in New Jersey. Burns Buik GMC is located in Marlton, NJ., and yes, indeed, their slogan is "Home of the Nice Guys". I believe the leopard collar was added by someone for fun (they did a pro job sewing it in place!) The only real flaw on this jacket is a small hole on the front. I think it adds character to the coat, what better jacket to be in need of mending with a patch than an automotive jacket!?
