Vintage Fall 1996 Maison Martin Margiela White Label Shirred Knee Pants size 40IT/4 US 1988-1997 White Label When the brand launched in 1988, completely white labels were sewn onto garments held on by a white basting stitch on each of the four corners of the label.  These four white stitches were intentionally loosely sewn on so they could be easily removed. The fabric tag is faded with no information however the size tag remains. Pants are a polyester crepe material with a relaxed fit and Shirred, drapey knees. No flaws. Measures 12” across elasticized waist unstretched, 26.5” inseam. Rise: 26 cm Mid-thigh circumference: 54 cm
