Vintage Limoges Opium Apothecary Pharmacy Porcelain trinket stash drug jar

I love to use these little antique pharmacy / apothecary jars to store all kinds of things in my home / kitchen. Highly collectible / extremely rare. This is a true vintage stamped French Limoges porcelain jar - perfect for tiny stashes of any kind gorgeous hand painted OPIUM, a lovely floral transfer design. I just noticed a hairline crack as photographed. To ensure it doesn’t go further, I sealed the inside of the crack with food safe glaze. Not noticeable at all when displayed (I’ve had this piece out in my kitchen for years), fully functional - definitely a conversation starter when having guests over! Bottom marked Limoges France le lavandou. Measures 3 3/4 in from top to bottom without the lid, top diameter is nearly 3.5 in. With lid top to bottom is 6 inches total height Don’t give Jonathan Adler your coins for a shabby remake - get the real thing, the inspiration for the famous vice jars ;)
