9.5 inch by 6.5 inch by 3 inch jewelry box with a pierced earring (some from Africa) selection from my closet. This piece was purchased from Grand Central Department Store in Las Vegas in the 1970's (Grand Central is no longer open). This box has a pleather padded top with a crest in the middle and hobnails around the edges. A very light wood construction with brown stain. Gold velveteen interior with compartments for rings, earrings, and watches, bracelets, and necklaces. Has some scratches on the wood but the fabric is in good shape and the hinges are good and work well. I pack using bubble wrap and use a sturdy box so everything arrives in good condition. From a no smoking and pet free house.
