Vintage “Mother” brooch. Marfa, TX

💘Mother Myrtle who lived in Marfa, TX evidently had twelve children, bless their little hearts - Robert, Leonard, Sam, Willie, Bobby, Sidney, J.C., the quadruplets Jenelle, Estelle, Idelle, and Mozelle, and baby Joe. Gold tone metal, crafted in cursive, with hand-engraved children’s names on the hearts. I polished until it shined, but a few of the hearts (Leonard, Bobby & Joe) still hold a bit of tarnish. Metaphorical, perhaps? Two truths though - this is a one-of-a-kind find for the true vintage brooch collector, and…Myrtle was very fyrtle! Message me with any questions.
