Preppy style sweater vest bright colours geometric patterns

I got this cute little number from SHEIN about 2-3 years ago when sweater vests were just starting to come back in. I had worn one ironically in high school and it looked good, so I thought this would, but you know, with my body shape, it just doesn't work on me. So I've only tried it on and it's been sitting folded under a table for months. But think of the possibilities with this look, the bold geometric print will make any outfit pop, and the pops of colour almost accessorize the vest. If I were to wear it, I'd do a sheer button down shirt in black or white and leave it untucked with a short (and I mean short) kilt type of skirt. If it were me though, I'd also want to add more black and white prints because all together they can look really amazing. And definitely some kind of chunky shoe. Oh, and I almost forgot the over-the-knee socks in black and white stripes. I'd keep accessories to a minimum and maybe wear a small rhinestone necklace, like one or two strands at most and you can button up your collar and wear the necklace in place of a bow-tie.
