There's a section below the knees where the fabric is different. They are ankle length and can be buttoned at the ankle or worn open. I had to restitch on the button so there's a slight lump on the inside at waist. Not visible or noticeable to wearer. Otherwise fantastic condition, no marks, really soft but hardy fabric. Size 25, length 32 (inches). Around Aus size 8-10. Size chart, pictured, indicates waist 64.4cm (25 inches), hip 88cm. But these fall below the waist so I measured all the way around the top of them, while wearing them, and it's about 90cm.
