This is a pair of vintage 1945-1952 Occupied Japan Red Floral Paper Mache Vanity Trays! Occupied Japan is considered the timeframe when the USA was the occupying force in Japan after WWII ended. Handmade of paper mache, each tray is hand painted and features a reddish orange lacquered front with gold trim and rose floral center. Backs are painted beige and marked "Occupied Japan". Professionally authenticated.💕
