Vintage Black Wool Top Hat ~ a black grosgrain ribbon finishes in a flat bow on the side of the brim. Inside looks Ned in a black leatherette band and rich red satin. All sides of the hat shown in photos. Inside circumference measures approximately 22-1/2”. Crown height is 6-1/2”. Brim measures 2”. In excellent preowned vintage condition. Smoke-free home.

What is the size not in inches, is it a 6 3/4 ?

@gigigarr Hi I just did a Google search and the answer is: A hat with an inside circumference of 22-1/2” is typically categorized as a Medium (M) or a numerical US size 7-1/8

@gigigarr A size 6 3/4 hat has an inside circumference of approximately 21 1/8 to 21 1/2 inches. Specific brands may vary slightly, but 21 1/4 inches is a common standard US hat size. So going forward you now have a guy to work with if someone states inside circumference of a hat in inches. I have many vintage hats for sale and other top hats in my closet.
