Please do not submerge vase in water/not dishwasher safe. Gently wipe with a damp cloth for cleaning. WHAT IS DECOUPAGE? 

Decoupage is the art of decorating an object by applying paper cutouts onto it in combination, than adding a clear coat of varnish to seal the paper.

Due to the nature of each vase being handmade and decorated, absolutely no 2 pieces are ever identical and might have minor imperfections. NOTE** The surface will not be completely smooth and may have creases. This is not a defect, but due to the decoupage process it adds a rustic look and feel to each vase. You will have a one of a kind, beautiful, perfectly imperfect, and unique vase.
