ctymom Thanks again: I'm trying to figure out whether a 3" x 5 and 7/8 x 1/3" inch phone could fit, whether on its side or upright, or whether I'd have to take off the phone case. If I can bother you one more time, how deep is the bag, please?

kimmie_closet @ctymom I have an iPhone 13 Pro Max and it does not fit in the bag but I haven’t tried without the case- I’ll measure this morning for ya

ctymom Wow, super, thanks! I have an SE (to fit in my jeans pocket) that measures 3" x 5 7/8" in the case and just over 5 3/8" x just under 2 3/4" w/o it, tho I'd much rather not take it out of the case.

ctymom Thank you. I have to do some calculating, because the widest point of the bag, at 6 inches, isn't six inches at more than one point, because of the curve of the bag. Is the bag two inches deep/ thick when closed? That depth would be helpful to know, especially at the top and bottom. Sorry to be a pest!

ctymom Thanks so much for your help & understanding.Still thinking.... Looks like just 1/8" off w/ case. Two final questions to make up my mind & leave you be: 1. In several photos it looks like the leather isn't lying flat, as though there is a "wave" (in the photo with the vertical measure it runs the width of the bag at about the two-inch mark. Is this just a variation in the leather, and is the side flat? 2. Are there any cracks, flaking or other signs of aging and drying? Thanks again.
