VINTAGE 1980s STEPHEN SPROUSE COLOR BLOCK RED BLUE MOHAIR SWEATER ~ LARGE

For your consideration is this gorgeous, vintage, 1980s, new without tags, color block sweater by Stephen Sprouse for his “S” line. This fabulous, unworn sweater features a bright blue torso and a bright orange/red shoulders and sleeves. Knitted of 70% mohair and 30% nylon with banded waist and cuffs. It is marked a size large and it is meant to be oversized, but as it is a vintage item, please pay attention to the measurements. Shoulder to shoulder: 23” across Chest: 23” across Waist: 22.5” across Hem: 20” across Sleeve length: 21” Overall length: 24.5” I bought this sweater in 1987, and I was thrilled because it looked like one that Vivienne Westwood designed for Johnny Rotten in the 1970s. But for whatever reason, I never wore it. Maybe I was afraid to move out of my gothic, all black comfort zone, and colors scared me. Haha!
