Vintage Art Signed Gold Lion Head Door Knocker Round Lucite Gold Chain Necklace This necklace features a gold tone lion head with yellow rhinestone eyes set in a round piece of clear lucite. The pendant is strung on a hefty, textured gold tone chain. The back of the lion is signed “Art” for the vintage designer, Arthur Pepper. I believe this piece dates around the 1960’s-1970’s. This particular Arthur Pepper necklace is very rare and hard to find; there are only two others online as of when I’m posting this. The round pendant measures approximately 2 7/16” in diameter. Including the bail, the pendant hangs about 3” from the chain. The chain measures approximately 25” in length and 8mm in width/thickness. The lion head shows very minor gold plate fading in a few places, and the bail shows some surface wear. The lucite disc has scratching which is only visible at certain angles and lighting.
