You indicated that this one carat SI2 diamond is worth $10k. Do you have the receipt to go with the other paperwork? Thanks!

@bfidol
It’s based on today’s value. The original price was 7999. It was bought at a loose diamond event. I do not have the original receipt.

Im a Diamontologist and that ring isn’t worth $10,000.00 Your lucky if you get $2000.00 for it. You bought it at Kay’s, you can take it to Jared’s and trade it in, but you have to spend twice of what you paid for it. And they credit you what you paid for it.

@marycbragg You can get the receipt from Kay’s

I’m not wanting to trade in. I don’t want anything to replace it. As far as only $2000 I really do not think that is enough for the ring. Of bought new- it would cost much more

@marycbragg Good luck getting what you want for it.

@marycbragg yes, diamonds and engagement rings are more expensive when bought brand new. your ring is worth its weight in gold and 20%-60% of the diamonds original retail price. it's automatically worth less second hand. I apologize you thought diamonds appreciated in value.

? Why are you commenting about this? We haven’t had a conversation
Jan 17Reply

taylor0394
@marycbragg is this not the comment section of a public listing for an item for sale? it's absolutely gorgeous and I was initially interested until I saw the price tag along with the details. I'm sorry you took the comment offensively. No we did not have a conversation, we are now though(: if you are willing to drop the price to the actual market value of the second hand ring id be interested!

I apologize. I wasn’t aware others were able to see comments about my listings from other Poshers.
I give 20% discount when it is liked.
Thanks

An SI1 for a mall jeweler is not worth 4700. Especially 1C and it’s not even a good cut. I would give you 1000

@rachelosborne1
Then don’t buy it. I give a 20% discount to likers.

searched for this exact ring online and seen a few listed under 2000. what your charging, someone can get online and get one with more diamonds for that price.

@neagle23
Then don’t buy it. I haven’t asked you personally to do so.
I don’t understand why you would even send me such of a comment

Nobody’s gonna want that for how much you’re selling it for. Especially from Kay Jewlers, bet if you take it to a pawn shop they’ll tell you the ACTUAL price it would be worth if you’re trying to sell it. Most likely they’ll give an estimation from 15 to 30 bucks at least.

astokes5525
In estimation from it being gold it would only be worth 100 bucks, and trust me I tried to sell my 2 bracelets from Zales that my ex got me a year ago and the pawn shop told me they’d sell for 30-40 bucks at most because it’s silver not gold. But gold, yours would only sell for 100, nobody’s gonna buy that for how much you ‘think’ it sells for. It’s false advertisement and fraud of people’s money, unless you have the receipt but if not, that ring is a lost hope and has no value.

@astokes5525
First of all, yes the gold is worth $100. The 1 carat diamond is worth more of coarse. The ring was 7999 when bought. The price I am asking is not too much. Poshmark is not a Pawnshop
