leidyaragon Im a Diamontologist and that ring isn’t worth $10,000.00 Your lucky if you get $2000.00 for it. You bought it at Kay’s, you can take it to Jared’s and trade it in, but you have to spend twice of what you paid for it. And they credit you what you paid for it.

marycbragg @leidyaragon I’m not wanting to trade in. I don’t want anything to replace it. As far as only $2000 I really do not think that is enough for the ring. Of bought new- it would cost much more

taylor0394 @marycbragg yes, diamonds and engagement rings are more expensive when bought brand new. your ring is worth its weight in gold and 20%-60% of the diamonds original retail price. it's automatically worth less second hand. I apologize you thought diamonds appreciated in value.
