Vintage summer weight flying, fire resistant Military coveralls. Made by Lion Uniform Inc starting in the mid 1960s, these are amount the first pilot coveralls made of Nomex fire resistant fabric. These coveralls have seen some use and show a lot of character. Many patches have been removed, leaving adhesive residue, but some remain intact, including a Vietnam War era inspired peace Eagle. Small hole on back left thigh. Lots of pockets, zippers, Velcro at sleeve cuffs and ankles. This piece is in good vintage condition. Size is marked 40 short, sizing can fit men’s small, women’s medium to small.
