I was in the 5th grade shopping at Strawbridges & Clothier when I noticed a display with candy, glitter and plush“velvet“. I instantly felt connected to this brand. JUICY IS FOR NICE GIRLS WHO LIKE STUFF!! The internet wasn’t what it was today (juicycouture.com was a series of babes eating pink snowball cakes, no products just stock lists) & learning about the brand was difficult. At this age, I would collage pictures from catalogs to create ”The Collection“, a bound book of clothes I wanted but knew I couldn’t own lol As I went into middle school I noticed older girls rocking tees with glittery text or old English font. I was excited anytime I saw it. And then I saw the JC on TV 😮 Cashmere. Argyle. Sweater. I was in love with juicy couture. My first piece was Bordeaux (yes I remember the retail color names) velour hoodie in 7th grade. I eventually made it a full tracksuit. I cherished these pieces. My collection grew, as I got older- my "Little Miss Juicy“ Tee became my attitude. The first piece I purchased online & last I purchased at retail was in 2009 during a free embroidery promotion… I had to have "MADVILLAN“ on the chest of a hoodie ❤️ Now I treat the little girl inside me to the pieces I couldn’t afford or find. I am sharing the joy with you. I am extremely familiar with the fit & quality of pieces produced before 2010. I only carry items from these eras. When did you first fall in love?
