Sushi developed a urethral blockage—a serious condition, especially for a 1-year-old. We noticed him peeing outside the litter box and his urine turning pink, then full blood by morning. After labs and X-rays, he was sent to the hospital, immediately unblocked, catheterized, and kept for 48 hours due to kidney and heart concerns. He’s recovering now but will need a lifelong diet change. About Beerus: This listing was originally for Sushi, but donations will also help with Beerus’ vet bills. Beerus has a long history of health issues, and he’s actually the reason I knew how to act fast when Sushi got sick. Unfortunately, his own health problems are recurring and shortly after Sushi’s scare he relapsed with a new issue. After extensive tests, they found his kidneys were the cause.
