Beautiful Antique C 1850 - 1900 Meriden B Company Butter Dish

Beautiful antique butter dish made by Meriden B Company. The Company was founded in the early 1800s and produced many fine silver plated service ware. This one is marked 1363 with the company hallmark. The inside has glass to hold the butter. The piece has a lovely petina on the outside enhancing its look. There is a place on the back of the piece that holds a butter knife though this does not have one included.
