1970's MOP and Blue enamel Butterfly Alpaca Silver Hinged Bracelet

This lovely vintage bracelet hails from Mexico and is made with Alpaca metal and enamel with pieces of mother of pearl inlaid in a butterfly pattern. There are accents of abalone shell in the in the leaves of the tiny side plants. The butterfly is white mother of pearl. Alpaca metal is an alloy of zinc, copper and tin and looks all the world like sterling silver. This pretty bracelet hooks at the front and measures 3/4th inches high at the front tapering down to 1/8th inch at the back. The inside measurements are 1 3/4ths inches front to back and 2 3/8th inches side to side.
