Vintage Mighty Mac “Utopian” Corduroy Coat WITH restoration

I thrifted this in the 80s and wore it for many years. Since the buttons eventually wore through, I replaced them and added reinforcement underneath to give it a third life for now! So there are patched pieces under the buttons for some distressed detailing. Other wear points are one pocket lining, the elbows and the neckline — which I think are okay but have photographed for a closer look. Read the labels … they are odes to pride in craftsmanship and quality and have value even as patches for upcycling. “Utopian” is big talk for corduroy! What a great coat!! If corduroy had royalty, this is it — lustrous. Lining unzips for multi-season use. It has a metal chain to hang it up from the days when metal chains were not a fashion statement.
